If You Already Have Your Design
We can work with any logo or design you already have. We make a digital file of your existing logo or art design, and send it to our computer-driven embroidery machine. The result is a full color, precisely embroidered image on your top-quality garment.

What Works Best
You can send us your logo or design in one of many ways:

• Camera-Ready: Send us your black and white design on white paper or as a photograph. We digitize the design and embroider it in any single color. An advantage of single color is we can change the color to complement the many different garment colors.
  
• Drawing: We will fix up your hand drawing and digitize it.
  
• Computer picture: Send us your computer-generated picture file. We can use any of the following picture file types:

  .bmp
  .eps
  .gif
  .pct
  .pdf
  .tiff

  We use 300 bits per inch resolution. You can send us the file in an email, or on a floppy disk. Please send us a color-printed example of your computer picture.

What Does Not Work as Well
The following types of artwork are not of high quality, but can be used as well:

• Artwork or Logo on a matchbook cover, napkin or business card
• Faxed picture
• Picture file made by scanning the original artwork into a computer

If something like this is all you have, we will start over and re-create your graphic to produce bright, crisp embroidered designs.

Starting From Scratch
If you do not already have a logo or artwork, we can help. The experienced professionals in our art department can create a design or a logo for you.

Embroidery Basics
Here are some ideas to think about when you are creating your design.

• Make sure your embroidered letters will be no smaller than 1/4 inch, so they can be correctly stitched and so they are readable.
• Use easily readable lettering styles (fonts).
• The number of stitches is the main cost factor. Large areas of solid colors cost more.
• Avoid fine lines and intricate detail.
• Consider different places to put the design on a shirt; for example: the cuffs, collar or sleeve.
